Guest artist Léa-Yoanna ADAM
We are pleased to welcome renowned French-Romanian piano professor Léa-Yoanna ADAM for masterclasses during the first week of IMA 2020.
A resident of France, Léa-Yoanna Adam is Professor at the International Academy of Music of the Pleyel Chamber of Paris, directed by the Concert Performer Pianist Brigitte Bladou and piano professor at « MUSIC FOR ALL » of Férolle-Athilly (Paris region) where she assumes on occasion the task of running classes and organization management. A musician and entrepreneur, Léa-Yoanna Adam is the founder and the President of A.D.A .M. (Academy Of the Artists Musicians) under the aegis of which she organizes concerts, courses for International Master-classes, International Contests and Festivals and award prizes in different competitions concerning the promotion of young artists. The A.D.A.M. includes membership of the Foundation « Alink-Argerich » (World Foundation created and chaired by the Pianist Maestro Martha Argerich.)
Her teaching is recognized across Europe and her master-classes have become a cultural event in many foreign countries for many years, and have been regularly featured on radio and television shows.
Beyond her personal artistic activity, Lea-Yoanna Adam is increasingly recognized by many young pianists who, thanks to her expertise and teaching experience gain many prizes in the Great Festivals and International Contests in Europe and Asia. Her pupils Denis Ivanov, Roman Timofeev, Jean-Paul Pruna, Madalina Danila, Daria Ioana Tudor, Mihai Ritivol, Kira Frolu, Diana Ungureanu, Andrei Margineanu, have become acclaimed performers and are appreciated in prestigious concerts including : Theatre of Monaco, Covent Garden, Carnegie Hall, Bolchoï Theatre, St Petersburg, Canada, Germany, Luxembourg, Switzerland, and others. Lea-Yoanna Adam works with world renowned Lang-Lang training of young talents Laetitia and Philip Hahn.
Léa-Yoanna Adam has been featured as a soloist with orchestra and in four-hand or two piano recitals, as well as chamber music. She was awarded the Honorary Citizen for the City of Iasy (Romania) for her musical achievement over her entire career and obtained the Medal of the Music whose professionalism is recognized on the scenes in Europe and in the U.S.A..
is also invited regularly to take part in numerous competition juries; for 12 consecutive years she was a jury member for the International Musical Competition of France alongside Mrs. Ginette Gaubert and under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture (she remains currently member of the Committee of Honor). She is also invited in juries in Ukraine, Poland, Latvia, Switzerland, Italy, Belgium, and Romania.
